HELP: why this site is “harmful”?

March 5th, 2008

These days, One thing depresses me. As Robvdl said, this site is marked as a “harmful site” by Google.

So I went to see the details provided by Google Webmaster Tool, it said that this site was found to be dangerous for users. Here’s the sample URL:

I’m not familiar with the web security, I read the HTML sources and found nothing. I’m confused, is it true that this site is harmful?

New feature:create your template by UT

February 17th, 2008

Inspired by this article:Add Your Document Templates to GNOME, I will add this feature to Ubuntu Tweak.

As I often write program to test, I need to write the same code by all times. If I can easily create the template of program, then fill it with other code, I’ll be more efficient than before.

Do you have the same experience like me? I think if you often deal with many documents, you’ll need this feature.

Tweak your auto start program

January 27th, 2008

I’ve made some work on tweaking the auto start program.

The Gnome Sessions has provided the same function, but there’s a little flaw of it. If you remove a item(especially system item, such as Bluetooth Manager), how you can enable it again? You may do the wrong action so you want it auto run again.

So this is Ubuntu Tweak does. Ubuntu Tweak can provide the same function of Gnome Session, and it’s safe to remove the auto start item, because Ubuntu Tweak only mark it hidden. You can always make it appear and auto run again.
