Introduction

This Archive contains the most recent versions of gmpc, libmpd, and gmpc-plugins for Ubuntu. Please visit #gmpc at irc.freenode.net to discuss gmpc.

WARNING: The packages here are bleeding-edge. You may experience bugs or crashes. If you encounter any problems, please report them to the gmpc bug-tracker:

NOTE: Some of the internet fetching plugins might cause gmpc to crash if you have "wins" enabled for your host in /etc/nsswitch.conf.

Some features may be unavailable if your using an older version of mpd.
To install an updated mpd, use the packages in this PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~gmpc-trunk/+archive/mpd-trunk

If you'd like to use a more stable version of gmpc, you may install the packages in the GMPC-Stable PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~gmpc-trunk/+archive/gmpc-stable

To install the archive key for this PPA, please enter this command in a terminal:
sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com CA0EB130
